East African Community (EAC) Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Conference

Prof. Thierry S. Nouidui (2 from right) from the CoEIT department was invited to participate to the 1st East African Community (EAC) Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Conference and to speak as a panelist in the Academia–Public-Private Partnership Forum (APPPF) Dialogue 2019. Both events took place from the 23rd October 2019 to the 25th October 2019 in Kampala, Uganda. The events were co-organized by the University Council for East Africa (IUCEA) in collaboration with the East African Business Council (EABC), East African Development Bank (EADB) and the East African Science and Technology Commission (EASTECO) under the theme Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) as a Catalyst Towards Achievement of East Africa Community Vision 2050. At the APPPF 2019 Dialogue, Prof. Nouidui shared his views on the regional and global trends in scholarly ad professional forums on subjects related to science, technology and innovation in bringing together players in the academia, public and private sectors, as well as on strategies for improving collaboration between those three entities leveraging institutional and legal frameworks.
