The services provided at UAUT Library can be categorized into the following areas:

Lending Books
The UAUT Library is using Koha system to provide lending services and facilities for return of loaned. Lending books and other materials from the library is restricted to members who have University identity cards. Renewal of materials and payment of fines are also handled at the circulation desk.

E- Books and Journals
Staff and students can access a full range of free online resources and full text standard e-books and journal articles. These resources can be accessed from any computer terminal with internet connection in the library.

Photocopy, Printing
Photocopy and printing services are available with small fee for students and staff.

  1. HINARI (Health InterNetwork Access to Research Initiative) – Provides free or low-cost access to major biomedical and health journals for not-for-profit institutions in developing countries.
  2. AGORA (Access to Global Online Research in Agriculture) – Offers access to key journals and information resources in agriculture and related biological, environmental, and social sciences.
  3. OARE (Online Access to Research in the Environment) – Provides access to research journals in environmental science and related disciplines.
  4. ARDI (Access to Research for Development and Innovation) – Facilitates access to scientific and technical information in fields like engineering, helping to support innovation in developing countries.
  5. GOALI (Global Online Access to Legal Information) – Provides access to legal research and training in developing countries, aiming to strengthen legal frameworks and institutions.

Free E-Resources:

  1. Bookboon – Offers free and openly accessible e-books, primarily focusing on textbooks for students and professionals.
  2. World Digital Library – Provides free access to significant primary materials from cultures around the world, including manuscripts, maps, and photographs.
  3. SAGE Journals – Publishes a wide range of academic journals across various disciplines, offering both subscription-based and open access content.
  4. PDFDRIVE – A free search engine that allows users to search, preview, and download millions of PDF files.
  5. Cambridge University Press – Cambridge Journals Online – Publishes academic journals across various disciplines, with a mix of open access and subscription-based content.
  6. Taylor & Francis Online – Provides access to a vast collection of academic journals and books across multiple disciplines.
  7. Wiley Online Library – Offers access to a broad range of scholarly content, including journals, books, and reference works across various subjects.
  8. Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB) – Indexes and provides access to peer-reviewed open access books, enhancing discoverability of academic works.
